Prickly Bay, Grenada.
Gypsy Dancer is currently hauled out ashore in Prickly Bay on Grenada for the hurricane season. Various maintenance jobs will be carried out during these months including anti-fouling and sail valeting.
The picture shows GD being hauled. It's interesting to compare this picture with the one taken a year ago in Washburn. Considering she's sailed 5,600 miles since then the low-performance, Lake Superior fresh-water, anti-fouling has performed well. I've cleaned the bottom a few times by snorkeling and using a scraper and a brush - perhaps once every three weeks since arriving in the Bahamas.
